Christine Walker is an artist and writer. Her paintings are exhibited in galleries and private and corporate collections. A Painter’s Garden: Cultivating the Creative Life, her first book (originally published by Warner Books), contains paintings and drawings based on her gardens and essays inspired by her journal/sketchbooks about creative process.
Her multidisciplinary career has encompassed graphic design and illustration, songwriting withDennis Hysom for award-winning children’s music and the book Wooleycat’s Musical Theater (published by Tortuga Press), set and costume design for video and for ODC/San Francisco dance theater, teaching and public speaking.
She holds an MFA in Writing and Literature (Fiction) from Bennington College, an MA in Creative Arts Interdisciplinary from San Francisco State University, and a BFA from the University of Kansas.
